Slash Commands
Slash commands let you interact with bots directly from the message input. Bots registered in a server can expose commands that server admins enable.
Using a Slash Command
- In any text channel, type
/in the message input. - A command palette appears showing all available commands in that server.
- Use the arrow keys or mouse to browse commands — each shows a description.
- Press Enter or click to select a command.
- If the command has parameters, fill them in and press Enter to run it.
Finding Available Commands
Typing / shows all enabled commands. Type more letters to filter — for example /pi would narrow down to commands starting with "pi".
Who Can Use Commands
Each command has a minimum tier required to invoke it (set by the bot developer). If you don't meet the minimum tier you won't be able to run the command. Commands unavailable to you won't appear in the palette.
For Server Admins
Bot commands must be enabled per server before members can use them. Go to Server Settings → Commands to see all commands registered by bots in your server and toggle them on or off.
