Privacy Settings

Go to Settings → Privacy to control how others can interact with you.

Direct Messages from Server Members

By default, any member of a shared server can send you a direct message. You can restrict this so only your friends can DM you:

• Allow DMs from server members — toggle off to restrict DMs to friends only.

Per-Server Privacy

You can control your visibility within each individual server. Right-click a server icon → Privacy Settings, or go to Server Settings → Members → your entry:

• Show profile — whether other members can see your profile when they click your name.
• Allow DMs — whether members of this specific server can DM you (overrides the global setting for that server).

Data Export

You can download a copy of all your personal data stored by Fluffwire.

Go to Settings → Account → Export My Data. A JSON file will download containing:

• Your account information (username, email, display name, etc.)
• All messages you've sent
• Your friend list and DM history
• Server memberships

This is provided in compliance with GDPR right of access. For questions about your data, see the Privacy Policy.

Deleting Your Account

Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. You'll need to confirm with your password.

Account deletion is scheduled — there is a short grace period during which you can cancel it via Settings → Account → Cancel Deletion. After the grace period your account and all associated data are permanently deleted.

WARNING

Account deletion cannot be undone after the grace period expires.
