Channels & Messages

Text Channels

Text channels are where conversations happen. Select a channel from the sidebar to open it.

Sending a Message

Type in the message box at the bottom of the screen and press Enter to send. Use Shift+Enter for a new line without sending.

Markdown Formatting

Fluffwire supports standard Markdown in messages:

Editing & Deleting Messages

• Edit: Hover over your message and click the pencil icon, or press the Up arrow when the input is empty to edit your last message.
• Delete: Hover over your message and click the trash icon.

Reactions

Hover over any message and click the 😊 icon to add an emoji reaction. Click an existing reaction to add your own.

Pinned Messages

Members with the right permissions can pin important messages. Click the pin icon in the channel header to view all pinned messages.

Voice Channels

Voice channels let you talk in real time. See the Voice & Audio guide for details.

Managing Channels

Server admins can:

• Create text or voice channels via the + button next to a category
• Rename or delete channels by right-clicking them
• Reorder channels by dragging
• Create categories to organise related channels
